Rear Suspension Question

I recently replaced both Airbags on my 3.0 w/self leveling suspension (only rear has air). I had to work on one side at a time since I couldn't lift the car from the back. Everything went seemingly well, however the car ended up not balanced, one side rides lower than the other. (Left is lower by ~2")
I did replace one of the sensors prior to installing the new air bags, thinking that was the fault. New part seems to be functioning well(?) no errors, no leaks, car rides great. All good apart from the fact the car is not level.

Any suggestions are welcome.
Thanks!

I hope this fits into the "any suggestions" category ...

I don't have air suspension on my 3.0i, but I still have the height sensors. If you look at them, they are a linkage with a ~90 degree angle in there. It is possible, and some would say way too easy, to reassemble things with the L in that sensor linkage flipped so that it's not measuring the correct height.

So I'd suggest to look for that on your level sensors. The linkage should be set so that when that corner of the car goes up or down, the sensor (that the linkage feeds into) moves up and down accordingly. Also, left and right sides should be the same.

Thanks for posting this, oldskewel
I looked at the sensors and since I was already there I lifted the car real quick and switched the one I replaced back to factory. Problem solved!

Thank you for posting those.

Funny enough, it was actually installed correctly. OEM part, should have been fine but wasn't...

In any case, problem solved.

Awesome. Wish I had my suspension problems fixed that easily back then.
