I have check pin 3 with ground (on the car chassity) and i have 5 v with key on. Also checked pin 3 and pin 5 and got 5 v. So looks like i got ground and voltage coming from DME. How do i go about checking for signal? If the throttle plate moves the resistance should raise or go lower? |

you have to go by the colors. The function is the same based on the colors:
Code:
cable intake 1 brn/vio 1 brn/vio 2 brn/wht 3 gry/wht 3 gry/wht 4 brn/blu 4 brn/blu 2 brn/wht (sensor) 5 brn/wht 6 brn/gry 6 brn/gry 5 brn/wht (motor) cut all but the violet striped wire and splice them as shown above. You should be able to confirm the two sensor leads by measuring Ω from brn/wht to brn/vio and brn/blu and move the throttle plate.
