Those 3 LEDs are your telephone status LEDs. Without any vehicle info given or listed...I can't say if your phone or Bluetooth connections are not communicating properly with a network.
  • illuminated GREEN LED = phone call in progress
  • illuminated RED LED = phone is on (if flashing = not communicating with network)
  • illuminated AMBER LED =
    • (steady) roaming in HOME system
    • (flashing) roaming in different system vs HOME system

If you are BT capable...double check to see if your phone and X5 have been unpaired. If you have a phone system, make sure that the in-car phone isn't trying to communicate with a network that isn't available. Try pressing the send/end button which is the button right below the 3 LEDs.
