AMC Mecanocaucho vibration app
This free app provides a chart frequency over time. There is a motor magazine article that explains how to leverage the info. I will repost in a while
Thanks. Look forward to the link to the article. I'll look for the app.

Thanks - didn't know the Schwaben (Foxwell NT510) can change settings. Always thought it was a scanner and resetter only.

Makes me want a Foxwell unit just for that feature. I don't personally know of any way of raising the idle RPM with PA Soft 1.4 or INPA.

Iridium Plugs

Nope the entire point of getting it is it's a two way scan tool. Not only can you program certain things, you can activate things also. Example: engage the aux fan at 50% or 100% or the secondary air pump.

You can for example request to roll down a window to determine if it's the switch that is broken.

Wife's X5 is a mutant 2000/1. They called it 01 but has the engine from 00 with the goofy 20 pin OBC port under the hood and also OBD port under dash. I had no luck bumping up her idle. Too bad her car shakes more than mine.

Came across these while researching NGK Iridium plugs: https://ngksparkplugs.com/en/product...um-spark-plugs

Anyone used these or know anything about them?

Technology constantly move forward. Lots of premature wear happening on direct injected turbo cars so...Presto new solutions! Glad to see they also included non turbo application plugs. Need to check on applications available.

Update: Yep NGK makes them for the 4.8is engines https://ngksparkplugs.com/en/part-finder
