If your original SA is as shown in that picture. Your new one should be 212B800108ADE90FS

You would enter that, then delete the last bit in the GM (7 in your case), delete the last bit in the SA (S in your case), and then delete the last bit in VN (E in your case). Click "calculate checksum," and okay.

I did all of that and went through the coding process however the Self Leveling error message is still there. There is no longer any sign of EHC anywhere except that pesky warning message on the dash. I wish the air suspension was never taken off. This is monumentally frustrating.

Code your LKM (light control module) with the new ZCS.

I went through every module and coded every one that had ZCS Schreiben as an option. I believe LKM didn’t have that as a job option. I can recheck. I don’t have LKM I have LCM and ZCS Schreiben is not listed as a job.

I am having absolutely no luck with this. How is there still a warning message when the EHC has been deleted from the ZCS?!?! This is beyond frustrating and I really wish whoever did this conversion would have just left it the hell alone. It’s easier to fix what’s supposed to be there than try and learn an entire new skill.

Take a moment and try to understand what we have already said.

ZCS (zentral codierung schlüssel) = central encoding key. It is a guide line how NCS changes parameter values when modules are coded. ZCS itself doesn't change how the modules work or their parameter values. Now that you have changed your ZCS you have to do the actual coding which changes the parameter values on modules. So either use CODE CAR which codes all modules (like said if some module is not responding it will stop there.) Or code every module individually by selecting the module and change job to SG_CODIEREN.

I coded each module individually and the suspension inactive error went away but the 4x4 abs dsc trifecta came back. The only way to get those to go away is to plug in the EHC module but then the self leveling error comes back. Perhaps I need to redo the dxc trick with 4.4 and no air?

What is the actual trouble code you get now with diagnostics?

Yes, you will need to use NCSdummy to clear the DSC error. Use the option Clavurion pointed at earlier in this thread.

Ok. That did it. No more errors no more lights. Coding the DXC module for 4.4 without air took all the error messages away. I’ll get a diy together and post on this post tonight. Thank you Clavurion and crystalworks for all of your help. No way I would have been able to get this done without your direction!
