Sound system without DSB
1- Where can I buy this box? Links if possible 2- Is this box necessary or can I replace it with a plug or something simpler? 3- Anyone can recommend a good head unit that can replace that part? a head unit that does not require drowing cables all the way to the trunk. Very thankful for any help or advise. |

Pull your amp and check the part number, search it in google and you'll find a handful of used options available I'm guessing. That said, there is no plug and play option as the plugs are proprietary to your factory amp. As for options on updated head units there are a TON of android units available in too many brands to name. Unless you are really prepared to dive into interior tear down and some manual wiring and wire pulling, it's considerably easier to just replace the factory amp.
I might consider going back to the place that installed your current solution and see if they can lend a hand, seems odd it went from left to right not log after the amp was replaced, may indicate other issues or, fingers crossed, you just got an amp that "that" channel failed on. Again, unless your in to tear down, I would pull the amp, gran that part number, search it in google and simply replace it and see what happens. - Would be nice though if you could get your $100 back from the prior company that obviously installed another week or bad amp.... |

Those numbers in the picture are the only numbers I found on the amp. and using them I couldn't reach the same part on the internet, I did not know which numbers I should use. Aren't there any headunits that can match my car without needing to draw new cables? |

There are a number of units that will install “directly” in to the car with the correct mounting kit and harness adapter yes, but they will all run through the factory amp unless you bypass it. I don’t have the wiring diagram on hand but the factory display units inputs and outputs run into and out of the factory amp so it would/should be possible to bypass the amp directly at the amp plug. Would take some searching to identify the correct input and output colors but tying input to output would bypass the amp and allow you to use any amplified head unit without the factory amp. Unfortunately, with the factory amp in the way, I don’t think any head unit would work as that output side of the amp is likely dead.
Let me look at tour pic again and I’ll see if I can work out what unit you have Sent from my iPhone using Xoutpost.com |

On second look that actually looks more like the radio module and not the amp, amp is located in the rear, driver side “storage compartment of your car is LHD. If it’s non DSP, it is likely the Alpine Hi-Fi unit. Can you get a full pic of the unit you are showing, if it has a “digi” connection on it, it is the radio unit and not the amp. Alpine Hi-Fi amp has a single 56 pin, I think it is, connector on it that “snaps” locked when pressed fully in to the unit.

Here are some pictures of the amp box in the back. In the side there are only GPS and CD changer.
Can someone with experience with same car model recommend a head unit and where can I buy this amp? I need links please and can someone tell what are those two small plugs? They are not connected to anything |

Part # 65126972666 is the radio module, not the amp. The radio module will have the antenna connected, which is that “thin” black cable in the top corner, the the actual “radio” inputs and outputs to the nonDSP amp are the larger black plastic connector.
If you search 6512697266 I was able to find a couple available on eBay and you may be able to find more calling the local salvage yards. The amp, to the best of my recollection is mounted under the NAV and CD unit, standing vertically down in the storage well. Don’t have a part number specifically as mine is Hi-Fi but I believe it still only has a single, large, black plug going to it that is power, ground and speaker in and out all in one plug. If you need just the radio module it looks like those go for about $150 used. As for radios that will fit the car, if you have a local radio shop, Best Buy, Walmart, Costco or other, their car stereo department will / should have / should be able to get, everything you need. Actually, pop your car in to Crutchfield and you will find everything and can have it shipped right to yours door. Sent from my iPhone using Xoutpost.com |

Basic audio doesn't have separate amplifier like Hifi and Top Hifi (DSP). The end stages are built in that radio module.

This is a picture of the GPS and CD I found nothing that looks like can be an amp. Is it possible that my car does not have an amp? I thought that radio is the amp because the dead speakers workd when I shorted the connectors in the radio plug, and even the left side is silent when I use aux input. I live in Sweeden, we dont have that variety of shops, I will try to find those parts on Wish or Alibaba. |
