Well CW, I truly apologize for thread jacking.

It’s time we know about this harness. I am quite interested!

Will my “effects feature” still function?

No worries. In fact I probably owe you an apology for failing to get you some info. YGPM.

I'm awaiting the epoxy so will update when that gets here and is "applied."

Made some progress here. Made some mistakes but that's fine. "We learn more from our mistakes than our successes."

Mistakes:
1. Use a release agent on the inside of the form.
2. The pins on the large plug are hollow and potting epoxy is VERY viscous
3. Use more hot glue. Did pretty well but there were a couple of pinholes the epoxy found

Will update with completed pics after I cleanup the cardboard the epoxy wouldn't let go of. Overall, this turned out pretty nicely. It will survive just about anything now I think.

So, I'm calling this done. The epoxy I used is a cheaper one on Amazon designed for potting but it seems to have done the trick. The cheap@$$ in me wouldn't let me order the Resintech stuff from across the pond (or Stateside supplier).

Here you can see the remnants of the cardboard forms that, unsurprisingly, the epoxy grabbed onto.

Here's what it looked like after some work with the Dremel and a few different sanding/grinding accessories.

And then after a couple of coats of Duplicolor Trim paint. It doesn't look quite OEM, but it's not half bad. Pretty happy with the end result really. I'll hook them up to the car's harnesses and grab a couple final pics to cap off the project.
