Yes it is BC. Sold and serviced by Sewell BMW in Grapevine since birth. I thought their selling price was fair and have been very impressed with the purchasing process and their follow-up. As I mentioned in another post, I've been watching the F15 forum for a while and that model seems to be very reliable. I know my wife's (excuse me, my CEO) 2014 F32 has only needed a steering angle sensor in 75,000 miles with no other repairs, so I think the "Twin Power" 8-speed ZF drive train is pretty solid.

I'll pay a little bit more attention to oil change intervals and the cooling system, but hope to roll this one another 300,000 miles as well.

That's great. I see posts of snow country X5s undersides and cringe. Underside of my 4.6 still looks newish. Haven't had any seized fasteners. I lived in Michigan for many years. Hated what the salt did to my cars.

I have a longterm relationship with Classic, They are much closer to me. I have heard good things about Sewell. Classic was giving me a parts discount but not anymore. Does Sewell offer discount for you?

We're rooting for you. Was always inspiring seeing the mileage on your E53.

I think with foxwell it's possible to change the oil change interval. Having the dot turn red is a very solid method to keep you on top of regular changes.

Drove my 2006 for well over a 100K miles, and traded in an F15 3.5i last year. Absolutely love it as much as the E53. Great car. Keeper for at least 200K.

Your E53 had a helluva run!
That may be the HighMileage E53...a long time poster here, TheChairman, still has his ol'X with high 300,000 miles; not sure of his current mileage.

Hope your next X serves you well!
