CCV Hose to Dip Stick - HELP

Hi -

I am actually close to resolving my vac leak which I've had for a long time. I was about to pull the intake manifold, but then found the massive 90% tear in the hose from the bottom of the oil separator to the dip stick. I actually have a ton of parts for the job, and a whole new CCV kit (but I dont want to do the whole job right now - its hot summer, and I got guests coming over).

So I got my old hose out, it was easy and I used a razor blade to coax it off both sides. I did not crack the old oil separator. But on mine, on both sides it just a press fit onto a nipple.

I went to look at my new kit and get the hose, but it seems like its a new designed with some connector...

part # on old hose is BMW 1 438 195 maybe a lower case b

Any thoughts? Can I just go buy a hose from Autoparts store? What size...
