Steering Column Vertical Tilt Stripped

Hey y’all, so 2001 model. Does anyone have any experience with how the steering column mounts into the dash? My vertical tilt has stopped working, but the switch, motor, and jack screw (it looks like), they all spin/work just fine. I’m trying to find the part (it looks like a plastic nut) that seems to hold the jack screw in position to maintain the vertical position of the steering wheel. I’ve attached a photo, but can’t seem to find any info or part numbers on this…

Not that's not a nut, it doesn't come apart there.
This is how it comes out.

Up and down on the column stopped working. Can you supply 12 to the motor directly and see what happens? You just need to remove plastic covers to get access to the motors. You don't need to do what you seem to be doing

So the motor works, the switch works, and I can see the mechanism spinning. But a quick nudge forces the wheel up/down. There’s enough friction to hold it in place. What does the motor actually spin that results in the tilt? Because that seems to be a jack screw of sorts…that’s what I mean by nut, it looks like something holding that jack screw to adjust the tilt.
