185 miles clocked. 5 hours. No issues. LTFT both as basically 0. Gas mileage shot up to nearly 26 highway. And was around 19 in heavy stop and go in the city.

My 2006 fuel trims are awful in comparison and has mileage is shit. Knowing now what I know, definitely must be air leak. Will dig into that one in fall, assuming the 2003 is back fully.

Honestly with the way people drive nowadays, up my ass, I like having my old car. Go ahead hit my $2k car. Yours is unquestionably worth much more on a surface level.

Yeah I kinda do the same thing esp. with the manual and the low gearing making the motor spin a little over 3K @ 70mph so I set the CC to 65 which is fine and also to piss off tailgaters. I’m in the slow lane bitch, back off. I’m also old and in no rush.

Glad you solved that problem!

^ Post of the week/month, for us Geezers, esp rolling along in our ol'E53 5 MTs!

I still like 'fast' on occasion and in short spurts: up on the Blue Ridge Pkway carving corners in my ol' Vette, etc.

Otherwise, just rolling along running errands, doc visits, etc. trying to stay aware of the plethora of idiots on the roads, (wanna be NASCAR/F1 drivers), phones in their faces, etc.

GL, Ol'UncleMotor
