that's better I thought that most American's I know love living here for some reason.

Why is that maybe our tea.????

Mind you most to go running around trying to get folks to take a free set of rubber mats. Imagine buying RHD mats for a LHD motor. lol.

Most of the BMW dealers are the same here,hence the big factor in me purchasing my X5 is that, My mate is a BMW Tech. I get most of my bits done for free ! However he does do private work, if you need any thing else doing that is more than a 2 hours labour send me a PM and i will get him to sort it for you at the fraction of the cost,And as for the Range Rover I am afraid to say you will get very friendly with your dealer as you will spend a lot of time in the service department waiting for your car to be repaired! Dont do it mate you will regret it.

Took my 2002 X in to Nine Elms in Battersea to have my new Style 132s put on, the old wheels taken off and the tyres taken off them......they did it all for free and while i waited I had a shiatzu (sorry for the spelling) massage, several cappucinos and read the newspaper. Cant really complain about that!!

And I cant even find those mats on ebay.com, which makes me even more angry!

No, that was for the whole thing..£21 for the wheels to be "swapped", £28 for the inlet grills, and £138 something for the oil change... The bloke at the counter had the nerve to say "Dont worry about the odd 20p"!

£28 pounds to replace the grills
Lets see, based on what they charge at the local stealer here (£7 + VAT per 5mins labour) thats a full 20mins work for a 5min job (at the most!)
Broken down thats:
5mins = scratching, put down the copy of the sun and make a cup of tea.
5mins = bit more scratching..
5mins = install grills
5mins = stand back admire work, more scratching...

Don't you just love stealers !!

I replaced my front grills in 10 minutes. Bit of huffing and puffing and a few scratches but it got done. £28 is pretty outrageous.

Thats what makes me so angry...I did my front grills in 10 minutes, but decided I didnt want to do the inlet (bonnet) grills because of the flimsy clips...Never again though!
