does anyone know how much room there is above the airvents in the x5 dash?
Perhaps it could be tweaked to work, but the primary challenges would be:
1) Precious little space above air vents. Not sure of exact measurements, but it's clearly a tight fit.
2) You'd end up with duplicate inputs/outputs. Remember, there would be so much duplication with having 2 stereos & 2 diagnostic systems that you'd essentially have to gut one system of its wires to feed the other, right?
3) Not sure everyone would go for the styling, and it would certainly be permanent for resale, etc.

Just my .02 on all these, tho. Where there's a will....
