Noise when Idling

Any good indy AC shop can test/recharge your system. It only holds about 1 lb. of R134a.
The stupid "service port" valves are a common failure point. BMW have a new type for replacement in both low & high sides. These will allow the fitment of industry standard schrader valves after you replace them. For $22 I thought it was a cheap mod.

I tried recharging but it's still the same hiss. I read some where that if the outside fan in front of the radiator does not spin when you turn on the ac, that might be the problem. I cecked and turned the ac on and off while the truck was running but nothing. can this be the problem?
