(WagnerX5) But you can't take your "preheater" away with you!

It doesn't just heat the engine up though, it heats up the whole car.

Imagine this. It's a freezing winter day, while at work 3 inches of snow has fallen, or dew has turned into frost. Half an hour before closing time you walk up to the window (if the X is no more than about 500 yards away) and press the "ON" button on the additional remote control. Come closing time, you laugh at all the suckers who need to scrape their windows and then get into a freezing cold car while you speed off straight away with crystal clear windows and a nice warm car. (if you park far away from your work like i sometimes need to there is also a timer option that will let the preheater run for half an hour.)

Nice looking 4.8! I don't have the 'roof' on my 4.4 and I haven't missed it one bit.

Boy did this thread take a left turn, then right, then straight.

hvisser4: As others suggested, take it easy here and enjoy it. Almost everyone is interested in helping and offering the occasional jab. : You'll get sense of our demeanour after you hang around awhile. As for your lack of pano, sorry to hear but make the best of it. It's still a fine vehicle. Maybe you should buy a second vehicle that can go topless altogether. You guys get some fantastic stuff we don't over here in America.

I hate the Europeans! They get those beautiful clear headlights and we get stuck with unsightly ambers. Damn the DOT! Yes, I'm jealous. If I wind up with an E90 I'll want the Euro clears for that too.
