Thanks but this is definetly comming from the sunglass holder.I need some ideas on how to stop this annoying rattle

Because that space is used for the motor, etc for pano-roof.

Hmm, wait a minute.. I've got a (May) 2006 X5 With Pano Roof and a Sunglass holder... and by the way, it too rattles, but only when my noisy metal-frame sunglasses are in it....

I guess I should be.... instead I belong to 0.000001% of the population that's actually NOT skipping work to watch the games... Silly Me, huh?

Hope U get that rattle fixed. I do hate them rattles.. Now seriously; Godeacs06 might have a point; sometimes you could Swear a rattle comes from a specific place, only to find out its sourced elsewhere. Have U tried removing the sunglass holder and driving around to see if the rattle persists?

Its not just a sunglass holder.Its a hole box that contains reading lights and the garage transformer.Its a pain to take the whole thing apart.
