That's called "depth of field" in photography terms...since the sun was getting down and not much light was available anymore, I had to use a LARGE aperture and ISO to get to a resonable shutter time. And as we all know, the larger the aperture, the narrower the depth of field, hence since I focused on the steeringwheel, it is sharp, while the gauge and the rest of the dash (and everything in front of the wheel too), is not.
