HELLOOO EVERYONE! Newbie here writing a greeting and also thought i'd ask a few question. I'm a proud owner of a 2003 X5 3.0. I have a few problems with this gorgeous car.
1. Both my cigarette lighters don't work. Could it be a fuse problem? Any suggestions? I'll push them in and nothing happens. The one in the front just get's pushed in and doesn't heat up or anything and the one in the back on the center console doesn't even want to come out. Seems like it's permanently pushed in.
2. My PDC goes APES&*T on me when I start the car and go into Reverse to back out of my spot. There's a loud long beep from the right rear and when I go into Drive there's random short beeps that comes on every now and then. I've gotten used to just pushing the PDC button to turn it off or at least that's what I think I'm doing. How would i go about fixing this.
3. I think I have the same problem with the Transmission. When I start the car in the morning and get ready to go my engine revs high then jumps scaring the %R$#Q@ outta me. I almost hit one of my fellow Marines from my unit.
