Well really we (notice I said we) are not going to sell X its paid for, so thats one plus. I would try doing it myself but It really is not cost effective for me to do it with the holidays and knowing that the car is needed for use. I Just don't have the time to take a day in trying it.
ITS JUST TO BUSY WITH A 16 MONTH OLD RUNNING AROUND AND WITH THE WIFE EXPECTING AGAIN!!! Oh I did find a shop to do it for $275 labor. |

X5 cv boots
Just picked mine up today, caught both front outer boots just as they started to split. Cost at outside shop was $425usd plus tax. I've done it before on my last x5, but without a lift its painful to do it on the ground

Used aftermarket boots, they seemed more flexible

ok one more question. When you get the outer cv boot replaced is it a good idea to replace the inner boot as well?
Does that require alot more labor cost to do? mark |
