Disarm by remote control only Question
My car's at the stealer getting programmed so that only the remote control will disarm the alarm. Currently, my key (or a bump key) can disarm the alarm by turning the lock.
He states that should my battery die, I won't be able to get into my car. That I will need to have it towed over to the stealership. Is this true?
I thought I was disabling the functionality of the alarm. The key should still work to open the door....right? And I can put a new battery in right?
