Actually I don't have many "good pics", in digital form,
of that scoot. And, alas, it has been adopted by one of my
bro-in-laws, as he bought it late last fall. It was a '90 Heritage
SoftTail that I had bought new, way back. It was a good sled,
hauling my azz around for 17 years, inc. a coast to coast trip,
many trips through NE, etc. It never broke down on me, and
still runs like a top.

I traded it to bro-in-law for a nice cash sum and I got my orig.
'75 HD SuperGlide back from him, that I had basically "given" to
him several years back. So, my old beater Shovelhead becomes
a new project bike for me, .

Do you cover up your engine's electrical parts and use some kind of dressing for your engine afterward?

BMW designs their electronics pretty water tight. I'm betting you could drive one through 2 or 3 feet of water without a problem.
