According to the WDS fuse 20 & 24 power modules in the locking circuits. Worth a check.
Also need to check all the connectors in the trunk around the area you were working.

I thought about that too when I first noticed the problem, but that's not where the issue is. I know this because the trunk release button on the key works with no problem. I'm just gonna take it in to the shop later today or tomorrow and have them figure out the issue.

Okay. Well I brought the X into my work today to see if they could figure out the problem. No luck. So I guess I've got to take it in to the dealer. Hopefully it doesn't cost THAT much to fix.

Another post here said to pull the fuse (even if it's not blown) for 10 seconds and replace it to allow the locks to reset. Not sure which fuse though. One said glove box another said trunk.
