It's not about the front, it's about entire car. E70 looks much bigger, higher, exhaust tips too to the sides, 20” wheels look like 18”…etc. Also I think on the picture you posted front looks tooo busy.

Well... like I posted earlier, all in the eye of the beholder. No big deal!
Everyone has different taste and that is not debatable.

BMW hasn't redesigned a model for the better in the last 5 years IMO. I understand they're attempting (and succeeding) at captuing more of the market, but its not what I feel is right for BMW.

I like the E53.
I like it's 100lb doors.
I like it's metal body (v. plastic)
I like its old school navi
I like its shifter
I'll (hopefully) be getting one soon.

(an old one )

I test drove the E70 and then told my dealer to locate me an 06 leftover 4.8 - I never looked back..

Senna, my favorite driver of all time! ( tied with Gille Villeneuve )
I can still remember watching that deadly curve he took. What a shame!

Thanks. That race at Imola was cursed, no joke. Barichello almost died in practice, another driver died in qualis the next day, Senna died in the race. Sends chills through me.

Own a 2005 X5 3.0 loaded
You live in the same county I do, watch what ya say

Just kidding. I'll admit that the X3 isn't the best looking creation from BMW, especially the rear end.
