after my installing my last set of new rear tires I had the alignment done. 20k miles later the tires are worn almost completly even. I'm at stock ride height though.

I had the dealer check the alignment and for any worn suspension components and everything was in BMW spec. I think you're right, uneven tire wear is OK especially after 50K miles or so. I wouldn't mess with the camber adjustment - it's that way so it handles like a BMW! By the way, I'm a Rangers fan but we'll be tuning into game 7 and watching the Canucks tonight - we're rooting for them - 39 minutes until game time!!!

Ok, PNG, good point. Strange, but I guess H had the answer.

How do they (your dealer) explain the cupping on the inner edges of your tires if everything is within specs? Negative camber alone would not cause cupping, would it?

Thanks for rooting for the 'Nucks. They managed to get it done tonight and in decisive fashion. Phew! I was worried for awhile there. Bring on the Ducks!

There doesn't seem to be any cupping. It looks like it but when I run my fingers over the areas it is totally smooth. It's just dust that made that pattern. Having said that, my understanding is that you can feel cupping so I'm going on that theory.
