Yea kirk,
I figured with all you have done you would at least be in the mid to high 13s. But heat does kill hp. I read somewhere that for a naturally aspirtated car that for ever 1 degree above 70 degrees you lose 1 hp. So that figure is even higher for forced induction cars.

By the way i actually used my gtech pro at the track and it was dead on with the timeslip. It was off at most by 1 tenth of a second.

i keep trying to get someone to do some runs w/ me, but never have the time. i believe my 1/4 mile speed was slightly over 100mph, somewhere in the 103mph? does that make sense w/ calculations?

That sound about right for your HP. With good conditions, you should be able to hit the mid-13s. I think brake-holding should help you get a good launch, but I havent had much success with that in the X5 yet.

thats heck a fast truck...must be them chrome rims! j/k. Actually I bet if you go down to 18s, it will be much faster...no need to worry about wheel spin...actually a small bit of wheel spin might even help!

well if its the chrome then let me add some more to the car to get into the low 13s
i suppose 18s or 19s would make it even faster, im content w/ what its at right now, although i wouldnt mind boosting psi up to about 10 (only running at 5-6 psi now). that'll be something to do later for fun i guess...i think there's someone who posted not too long ago w/ a supercharger on the 4.6 boosted at 10psi, he got over 530hp?

I just don't think it will be worth the while as the transmission programming limits the performance doesn't it? If you had a manuel gearbox, yeah... whatcha think?
