It works on mine. Try it this way - rather than just pressing the button once to turn it on, hold it down for about 2-3 seconds instead. That's the way I have to do it on mine. It will work for about 20 minutes then auto shut off, but if I hold down the power button for a couple of seconds it will come back on again for another 20 mins.
