2006 3.0d (M57N 160Kw 500Nm)
10.7 l/100km light urban
9.0 l/100km long trips at 120KPH

The best part about having a diesel is seeing the 999Km to go on your range metre... and knowing that you can do it a reasonable speed!

2002 D sport
95000 miles (60000 in my ownership)

Combined consumption = 26.576 MPG (UK) (These are acutual figures - I am sad enough to document every fill! The on board computer is very accurate and shows an average consumption of 26.6 MPG)

Best trip consumption = 34 MPG

(BTW, this has been the most expensive car I have ever owned and the most unreliable )

And if you fill it really carefully you can go a good distance before it even drops below 999km.

6.5L/km on the highway? How is that possible unless it is running on the smell of an oily rags? . On the highway, I would say 8.5L/100KM is possible - on a good road and keeping to 100-120kph. Ok, I noticed you have a manual diesel but surely not that economical

Thats what I'm getting on the trip computer, Ill fill up and reset the economy and thats what I have been getting on the highway between Gold Coast and Brisbane 100-120km/h, this is a very flat road but none the less I have still been very pleasantly surprised with the figures myself
