I have an E53 2001 4.4 with aero kit and have the option to get the same wheels for 20" E70 for $1800 or 18" E70 style 210 for $975.
What do you recommend and where can i get the Rings.

joe,

You can get those rings just about any where that sells wheels. They are really cheap don't let anyone try to charge you an arm and leg for them. I just upgraded my wheels and had to do the same thing.

FYI.... I have a great set of 20"x10.5" style 87's that I just took off my 03' E53 4.6is for sale and you would not need to use the hub centric rings as they were designed for our year make and model E53... Shoot me a PM if you want additional info or you can check my listing on "SAV items for sale"

Did anyone else happen to notice at the CT meet that Laura had a set of spinners on her X5?

I am also considering the Areo kit. ...Does anyone have photos of a silver pre-facelifted with this kit?

Are you selling your 87 soon ? i'm looking for a set.

I was really hot on the idea of the aero kit and 214s, but the NAV/DVD/MP3/XM/Backup camera + Alpine digital 5 channel amp stereo & interior trim upgrade took a large chunk out of the budget and the wind out of my sails ....I decided to do the 4.6is front spoiler instead of the aero kit. The 87's look right at home with this setup. I will have to cut and paste some pictures together to see if I would like the 214s/4.6is any better. If I did sell the 87's, I would want $600 for them...?
