If they are the light closest to the grill, and they stay on all the time
then i believe they are called Daytime running lights, or DRL's

I don't know about Malaysia but in the USA switching them off so that they are
not on all the time may be a dealer option. What that means is that the lights can be
programed to stay on all the time or turned off so that they operate as high beams when needed.

You may need to ask a dealer to program the lights to go off.
If you physically disconnect them you will have no high beams.

Kinda looks cool with all of them on, just switch the bulbs out for something with a blue tint and when they arnt at full power ie DRL the color comes out as white, I had my e46 with the DRL on like that, its much cleaner than the dingy yellow

The DRL's in our truck stays on even when the parking lights are on. They only do not come on when parking lights are on while the truck is off or when the headlights are in use.

How do we disable the DRL's? I was going to wait till I brought the car in for service and have the dealer shut them off but if there is a way to do it through the OBC I'd rather do it now!

i think its kinda a stealer type of thing that is only thru programing codes, unless you have an indi that you know of that might be able to turn it off, it takes about 2min to do, but you gotta love that they charge by the hour
