Turn Signals Hyperblinking?

When I finally accessed the left signal bulb I found the bulb/socket contacts to be lightly corroded. I used a 400 grit emery paper to sand it away and all is well.

Had the same problem. Was broken than was working fine. On my way down on vacation it started again so I stopped at Flemington BMW and they got me in and out. Turned out that the holder corroded right through, apparently its a big problem but no TSB has ever been issued.
