Good luck with your angel eyes. I betcha that Custom Angel Eyes uses the same "angel eyes" as European Auto Source....

Again, check out my thread with pics so you can see what you most likely will get with Dave's kit.

There are not too many companies that make CCFL rings that fit properly for the E53 X5....RDash is the OEM manufacture for the E53 X5 CCFL rings.

and weasel 56, i agree with you about the highbeam eyes that dont fit correctly. that is why i didnt consider customangeleyes/angelibright. But for the new model (their site is outdated) the halo goes all the way around and it looks great! ask richirich for more details ( he has em ). they are also supposed to be alot brighter. also, my x5 also has factory HID. its not that you cant get their headlight, you just cant use ur HID kit. you will just have to spend 130 more to get a new hid kit put into the headlights (you lose the auto leveling system .. ) . but i thought about it, and if i get amazing looking angel eyes and pay a little more to re-get an HID kit (pointless i know) its kinda worth it. especially if your factory headlights are chipped and showing age like mine/outdated. also i was guaranteed the lights were not cheap, would not leak, etc. and if anything was wrong they would be repaired or a new set would be shipped promptly.

i will definately let you guys know and post pics. just need that credit back so i can put in the order for the other lights!

Good luck with Dave's setup. Once you get it done, definitely post pics of the results!!

Hey mtX5,

Just wondering if your issue with Umnitza has bee resolved? Mine is still stuck and isn't going anywhere.

Have you decided to go with the Custom Angel Eyes solution?

Wow I just clicked your link and from your pictures they look terrible. Man am I glad I didnt keep those "p53s".

My issue is resolved after about 3-4 weeks. Like I said, I ordered through Modbargains, and I think thats what ensured my refund. If I ordered directly through Umnitza I might be in the same position as you :-\ . The thing is they even gave Modbargains a hard time thats why it took so long. I still cannot believe how Umnitza treats their customers, other businesses, and how crappy their products are!

I really hope you resolve your issue soon. Why don't you dispute the charge on your credit card? Or get some legal action taken.

As for your question about Custom Angel Eyes, yes I have chose to go with them. Richirich told me all about them, and posted pictures in a recent thread. I was amazed. I also called David at Custom Angel Eyes and there was definately a big difference in service you can notice from just one call. They should be coming in by the end of this week or beginning of next. I recommend you go with them too after you deal with your umnitza issue. I will post pics when I get them.

Once again, goodluck with your issue, and try to solve it!! Go through your credit card company, or seriously take some legal action. You can't be driving around like that! Goodluck..
