leave it alone..wood interior just fine..! Find better investment for your ride ! Or just enjoy your ride ..german engeneers ( can you imagin ,how big is a a team at Bavrian Motors engeneers/desiners?!) did exelent job over all ( do not pretend to be part of it..most probably you are in the different field of business , then auto..and have this sofisticated itch for aoutocreation..kind of no9n pro mess up things...) Of cource it's absurdic idea to pain wood panels ..You shoud reread some storyes of English humorist Jerome K. Jerome -"Three Men in a Boat." ...-would be exact match you need right now. If you did not read it before, - it's time ,then after reading, look at your idea of repainting again.. friendly me

Go to ebay or the like and buy the pieces you want then sell the wood.

Smile

This is the single most ridiculous thread I have read here. After getting to page four I'm fairly confident I wasted several minutes of my life. Who cares what the guy wants to do with his car? He simply asked for advice and gets ragged by people who must be very confident that they are far better than him. What looks good is up to the owner, not some self serving jerk off who insults out of ignorance. If a guy wants to paint his interior trim who the f%#$ cares! It's not yours asshole!

Some people need to pull their head out of their ass before they hit the keyboard.

IMO.

thanks brother.
I'm the guy who started the thread and I was simply asking to paint my trim just like OEM and asking those who have done it their experience with it.
After asking a couple interior shops I decided to buy or trade oem with someone who wants wood.

I can not beleive the freekin punk ass bitches who tried to cut me down.

If a modeator can stop this thread I would be fine with that.

So, at this point I am looking for someone to purchase or trade OEM if anyone is interested let me know.

cheers

I cant see the big problem about painting the trim if it is done properly.

I have an extra set of light wood interior trim im thinking about repainting. Im using a darker wood trim right now.

The whole car is getting repainted next week, and was thinking about having thelight trim painted as well..

Any opinions about how the trim would look with the original car color.?

I will do the the pieces one the door handle as well.

I have the 668 jet black color..

BTW.

I have the interior trim as found here:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-X...spagenameZWDVW

With all the parts..

Are they easy to sell.? Should i maybe try to sell them on ebay and buy the black ones?

what kind of statement is that?? I understand you are entitled to an opinion but it sounds very negative from where I am standing...Whether you like it or not everyone deserves whatever car they want no matter what they do with it...

By 'haters' I mean people who disagree or are negative about the mod
