So there's no better option for just the angel eye rings than eBay out there? Just didn't want to jump on an ebay set just to find a better option later. I just wish I could find an aftermarket set of headlights that would work with the OEM HID and self leveling setup as I would rather not modify the OEM lights if I have the option.

weasel,

It says on their website that you can just buy their angel eyes and have it installed on your exisitng headlights or a new set:

http://www.customangeleyes.com/purchase.htm

Unless that information is outdated. I'd just contact them and see what they have to say. I bet you can even get them to have the angel eye color to match the OEM headlights.

Good Luck!

I was thinking about this the other day, and I think you can pull that off. I compared the headlights i got from Dave with my OEM ones, and basically they are the same molding so there is a space for the self leveling motor. So I think if you are handy and up for it you can pull off transfering it into Dave's headlights.

Yeah .. I bet weasel could do it easy.

Hey weasel ...is buying another set of OEM headlights (to add angel eyes to it) too expensive? Or maybe get a used OEM set from ebay instead of getting a new set ... just a thought.

As far as those angel eyes ... I didn't read that it costs $900 clams just for the angel eyes .... no headlights.

Yeah, he still has old pics of angel eye rings that don't fit the headlights... which I know has been fixed for a long time, just old pics.

I might look around for a set if old headlights to play around with and make my own the way I want them... and I have a really good mental image of how they can come out great for just the cost of the angel eye rings.

Factory xenon w/leveling? Hmmm.... I guess price would be the deciding factor. I just wish my boss would let me steal the headlights off of the flooded x5 that's been sitting in the back of the lot since hurricane katrina, all they gonna do is crush the damn thing anyways!

Good catch - totally missed the OP's production date.

Only option would be the RDash kit for 2000-2002 models, which is CCFL:

RDash - CCFL Angel Eyes (pre-facelift X5)
