Do you think you could retrofit 2004 OEM angel eyes into a pre-facelifted headlight, if you were able to find some?

No, the headlights are completely different.

The 2004+ headlights cannot be opened in the first place.

How are you selling angel eyes for those headlights, then? I assumed the old ones were coming out.

2004+ X5s have an integrated Angel Eye system from factory, we simply upgrade the existing light source to a high-powered LED.
