Exclamation SES Light - OBDII Code P0443

P0443 - EVAP (Evaporative Emission System) purge/vent solenoid circuit condition

(From my initial research) I realize that I'll most likely be changing out my Purge Valve (A.K.A the Fuel Tank Breather Valve) to correct this SES light issue, so I wanted to ask for your assistance once again.

If anyone knows how to change the Purge Valve on a 2001 X5 4.4i, please post some instructions if you don't mind. I'm big on DIY, so any help would be GREATLY appreciated; from what I hear, it's a quick fix if you know what to do.

I just know I don't want to pay the dealer $300-400 for parts and 30 minutes of labor.

Thank you a ton in advance.
