Replace Factory Amplifier with new amp's

Hi.

I was wondering if anyone knew what type of output the stock (non dsp no nav) stereo on a 2004 X5 puts out to its amplifier.

Assuming it just spat out a line leval output, i would love to pull out the factory amp and replace it with new amps for the front,back and sub so i can get the sound quality i want without sacrificing the look of my dash and all the included telephony and trip computer functions of the stock head unit.
