'02 Dim Headlight

Hello all,

I just noticed that my right headlight will dim to a dark purple color after warming up. Have any of you had a problem like this before? Is this a problem with the xenon bulb or a more complicated voltage problem?

Thank you in advance for any help. Getting any help here is much nicer than spending the $130 for diagnostics at the dealer.

Grab a bulb/bulbs off flebay and replace the right one and check the results. You can pick up OEM HID bulbs for $60 a pair usually.

Ya I had that problem on my old headlights. It is probably just the bulb. Been there since 02, so might be time for a replacement!

TaMbALoLoNg is an unknown quantity at this point
If your gonna replace, advice to replace both at the same time to ensure bulbs shine identical.
