Castrol synthetic 5W30, any auto parts store or the dealer will carry it.

Don't know what vehicle you have but I found this on page

Probably late to this most amazing thread wonderment,
but any quality name brand synthetic will do fine. 5W30
seems to be the oil of choice but a good 0W-40 is my
pref.

lmao!

I found that the BMW castrol (sold at the dealer) was cheaper then other brands (Mobil and etc) at the local auto shop (checkers and etc). The parts guy said that BMW is trying to keep their price lower/same as the local auto shop.

Do you mean Lucas oil treatment?

Whether it is Lucas, lukas, or another, it is a bad idea. Oil additives are specifically not recommended (see your manual).

I always enjoyed the article about additives on the website Bob is the Oil Guy. I hadn't remembered that they actually tested Lucas, but they did. See the link, and see how disastrous it can be to put this in your engine.
