for the handles, I decided to:
1) buy the original black / plastic handles (those for the basic models), the cost was much cheaper than repainting my original handles!
2) keep the rear part of the handles in body color to create the two tone effect.

I've also replaced the rear cover for the keyhole to a fully covered one for the cleaner look (this is the before photo, my X is RHD)

I'm quite happy with the result. The Black / Silver two-tone effect changes when looking at the car from different angles which is kinda cool

Car looks good!

Where did you get those black front fender arch extensions? Are you just using the OEM 4.6/4.8 fender arches in the rear?

Thanks guys for the complements ;-)

I think I'm pretty done with the mod for the look. So right now I'm starting to think about what mod I should do for the "inside" of the car without breaking the laws where... may be some CAI, xpipe.. or sway bars.. etc. Any recommendation?

Definitely do the X-pipe mod, such a great exhaust note! About the CAI, I heard that the stock intake on our e53's are designed similar to an aftermarket CAI already. Any truth to this?

Awesome Simon! You gave me an idea modifying mine(picture below). I like the black rims combined with the titanium silver color. Where did you get the rims if I may ask?
