Question about Wheel/Tire Sensor...

Ok... I have the 4.8is e53 and have been having problems with the Wheel Tire Sensor... About every 80-100 miles the warning light goes off. I have had it to the dealer 5 times for it and they haven't fixed it yet, even though they tell me they have each time...

I have read the the sensor on a 2006 is the FTM and it is wireless... Is it like bluetooth where it has to be paired to the vehicle? I think the guy I bought it from changed out the wheels and tires when he bought his 2008... So the sensor on my x5 might be one from a 2008... Don't know if that would make a difference, but I am trying to think of anything... I don't think the guys at the dealership can grab their A$$ with both hands... They are clueless...

Any suggestions on what I could suggest to the dealer to get it fixed? All they know how to do is push the reset button... I am not going to mention which dealer it is but they basically told me that they had no idea what it was and was going to leave it at that... I then asked them if I needed to take it to another dealer on the other side of town and the service manager didnt like that and kept my x5 for a week... Said it was fixed... Replaced a lot of other parts under the CPO.... 100 miles later... Tire light...

Now this is going to be trip #6 and I'm starting to get a little upset...

So if anyone has any suggestions, I will be very greatful...

Thanks in advance...
x5 M-Sport...
