Ben/Tel,
Not an under the hood X5 xpert, but I am missing the connection between your aux fan maybe not functioning properly to the lack of cold air on one side of the vent system.

The symptom is better described as the A/C only cools when I am moving. Originally I thought that it was only the passenger side but after checking the refrigerant level and having it topped up both sides cool when I am moving but get warmer gradually when I am stopped and eventually get's to ambient temp.
Sorry for the bad description in the initial post. I am prepared to replace the aux fan but really wish that I had a way to check it first. I do know that it is not coming on at any time and it's been in the 90's here the past week. You seem to be in the same climate zone as I am so I'm sure that you can understand the reason for needing the air to operate properly. Thanks again!! Ben |
