People are in fantasy land with the 4.6is. Best bet is ebay, where you can see what people are actually offering. I remember looking for mine they were in the 25-30k range and dealers were sitting on them for months. It is a rare car yeah, but only because people weren't buying them when they came out, not because it was a limited edition car.
I would pay 20k for a low mileage, well maintained 4.6, but high mileage ones should be in the 15-17k range. This is not an M5 we're talking about, but mileage to year ratio they're often priced higher than M5's and M3's alike. When you consider that it seems a bit unrealistic.
Well maintained privately owned cars I can see paying more for, but if it's from a dealer trust that the auction numbers are low on this car, and they should be making a killing @ 20k.
