Having Problems at the Stealer, Please Help.....
First off, I have a 2006 4.4i with 47k on the clock.
I took it into the dealer with some transmission complaints. The X had the notorious clunck on hill starts and from rolling acceleration. Also sometimes i felt like it could find the right gear on he hwy. The advisor called me the same day saying that his tech also noticed that something wasn't right. He had said that they submitted a claim into BMW NA and are waiting for a response. The next day i call to see how its going and the advisor told me that BMW NA had said to release the vehicle back to the customer. I was pretty shocked and told him that I did not want to have a bigger problem in the future seeing as how my warranty is out in less then 3k. He told me that his service manager will give me a call to explain the situation. Right now I am still in a loaner car and waiting for a call tomorrow morning. Please help any way you can. How should I approach this situation? I really don't want to have the tranny go out right after the warranty ends. The dealership is BMW of Bellevue in the Pacific Northwest. Thanks Guys, Appreciate your time on this. Robert
