Thoughts on '01 3.0 purchase

I am looking to purchase an '01 3.0 with 106k miles on it. I know the history of the vehicle as it belongs to a friend. He had a complete inspection done at the BMW dealership and all that came up was a possible suspension item, engine belts, and some A/C hoses, but nothing immediate. I know it has had some engine seals, windows regulators, fuel sending unit, and a few other things done. New brakes.

The price is right, but I am concerned about reliability.

What are you thoughts on an '01 3.0 with this many miles?

Any major concerns I should be aware of? Transmission/engine problems?? Others?
