Volume knob

The volume knob on the radio of my 3,0I is very sensitive, just turning it very slightly and it passes from volume 0 to very loud. No problem to set the volume with the +/- pads on the steering wheel though.
Is there something to set-up somewhere or is it just the main volume knob which needs to be replaced?
Thanks.

I don't think you can replace the volumn knob.. or its the knob that's causing the problem.

FYI: if you grab on to the knov harder and try to pull it, it will come out. but there is really nothing you can do about it.
