Hi everyone. New guy here. Just joined the Outpost today. I’ve had my 2006 4.8is for 4 days now and it’s been a blast everyday. It’s LeMans Blue, all stock, 132k on the clock. I used to own a 2002 3.0 that felt like a slug and burned way too much gas and was just way to slow. So it was sold with thoughts of one day in the future getting a 4.6is. Well that time came sooner than expected and when the wife graciously gives the thumbs up and actually encourages it, who am I to say no? I’m loving it though, the power alone is enough for me, having not had a v8 attached to my throttle pedal in many many years. I’m still in that , let me look outside the window again to make sure that’s really my X in the driveway” phase. I’ve had a few muscle cars in my days but this is something else. Well don’t want to ramble anymore about what you already know. Just wanted to say hello from Cocoa Beach Florida!
