ARTRIGA,

Sorry just noticed your question about the navigation. When I first got the X5 the DVD Nav disc drive was not operating properly. CPO warranty would not cover the problem, so luckily the guy I bought the car from had a 2006 X5 on his lot with Nav, so he helped me out, we swapped the DVD units and I ended up with a 2006 DVD Nav drive...to my suprise, each time you start the car, the "accept" screen shows for about 2 seconds, then bypasses and goes to the map...not sure why but its awesome. I guess someone hacked the DVD drive I ended up with?

No hack...just the feature of new nav software. I have had in 4.8is for over 3 years. Check nav forum here for more info ....I believe they changed this in some version. You may need new nav sw version.

Cool, thanks...in my E39 M5 (a friend downloaded a disc) that got rid of the accept screen, a M5 logo startup splash screen, and better graphics plus birds eye view...good stuff...
