Very nice...

I'm curious, how does insurance handle something like this? Obviously, this is no ordinary X5 (it's Imola so therefore it is very, very special imnsho).

As for audio, Tom at 12velectronics or elduderino on bimmerforums may be some help. My understanding is the stock audio uses a separate wire for volume control (unlike a normal head unit). Somewhat of a pain to work with as I believe unless you replace the head unit, you are stuck with running output level line out controllers. Maybe they have some amp suggestions that will help there. Really weird audio in this one.

wait now, you have two???

Also normal insurance will pay book value which may not cover what you paid for it. But then again, book value for one with very few miles would be a lot more than book value for one with 50K miles + like most vehicles of that age would have, so that helps a bit I spose.

Believe it or not the guy he bought from still has more 4.8is with double digit mileage.
