Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
Here come the safety gurus.

DRL should be for motorcycles only, make us stand out amongst the cages. If a driver can't see a 3 ton SUV on broad fucking daylight they have a problem. If its cloudy or raining out, turn on your parking lights at least, or your low beams, you know why?

Because 85% of these idiots with DRL on their car drive around in the rain and don't turn on their headlights so their rear end has no illumination, talk about unsafe in the rain or foggy condition! Ask any person who doesn't know any better, why they wouldn't turn their lights on if it was foggy or raining out, I guarantee you'll hear "Oh I don't need to it has the daytime lights on". IDIOTS.

Secondly as was said above, cleaning your windows once a week, or keeping a coat of Rain-X on them will do a hell of a lot more for safety keeping your rear window clean, than a wiper that can't even wipe the window cleanly.

/end rant but trying to tell me that DRL somehow should be mandatory on the road is a bit ridiculous to me, as 20 years ago for some reason we all got along just fine without driving around with headlights on during the day.

If you're talking about discerning yourself from other vehicles on the road then DRL is a great idea for motorcycles as most cagers could care less about looking out for them, and it is helpful. But when every cage has headlights on an M/C just blends into the surroundings.

If you can't see a 3 ton SUV during the daytime on the road you either need to get off the phone or get your eyes checked.
