I was listening to mine yesterday while driving and there is no droaning or raspiness and it isn't loud inside. the xpipe will solve some of your issues. if u think its still loud after the x pipe then put the stock mufflers back on. if its loud on the inside then make sure u have the cargo cover pulled back.

These are the glass packs I installed:

An I6 exhaust will sound NOTHING like a V8's, so your post is kind of mute. When the Magnaflow 14815/14816 mufflers started becoming a popular mod on the 5/7 forums, many 525/528/530 guys complained about the drone from using the mufflers, while 540/740/M5 guys loved them. You're comparing apples and oranges.

The mufflers aren't your problem man, it's those stupid straight pipes you put in! Your a plumber, not an engineer, so quit screwing w/ your exhaust by changing how it was designed to flow correctly after removing your resonator. Put the resonator back in, or buy an x-pipe off ebay for $50 and put that in. Get rid of the damn straight pipes.

Same Anything w/ a true dual like we have, I'd never completely delete the X portion of the exhaust. Many members have removed their stock resonators for an x-pipe, which is absolutely fine...as long as you keep the stock diameter. The 4.4 is 2.25", but I'm not certain if the 4.6/4.8 is the same or larger, so find out before you order or get it done.

Isn't "for real" supposed to be two words? Why are you such a dip$hit? If you don't want people opinions, quit posting it on public forums. You screwed up, you've finally come to grips w/ it since you've admitted it's too loud, yet you can't admit you screwed up and take the comments you should only expect. It's called accepting responsibility and you made a poor decision, so why be a smartass to other people for something you did? After reading various posts and threads of your, clearly this is something that eludes you.

Google "eludes" if you're not sure what that means.
